First thing's first: technically (or legally), I am a "Nelson".  Last August I married my other half of seven years, Christian, and I took his last name because I wanted to share that with him.  But a part of me will always be an "Egge".  So I decided that I'd still use "Egge" for some things--like when I registered for races or I don't know, started a blog . . .

Second, I'll always be the littlest one, because I am the baby of my family--the youngest of three daughters.

Hence, This Little Egge: the blog of the youngest Egge sister; the one drawn to photography, a runner like her father, a lover of antique stores and vintage finds like her mother, who is settled in Santa Cruz (for now) with her husband (who also happens to be her very best friend) and their amazing little dog, Mr. Buckwheat.

I am claiming this corner of the internet as my own--and I will fill it with the things I love.
